From Grief to Hope

I've been exploring the traditions of orthodox Christianity over the last several months. In faith, I purchased these studies to do with my husband, and gently offered to go through them with my mom and step-dad. To say that the Spirit is transforming us would be an understatement. The light and darkness concepts drawn on throughout the study makes for incredible, intimate conversation. I have seen my relationship with my mom strengthen, and have enjoyed reading beside my husband in the last 40 days than we have in the history of our marriage. Entering lent, the word I used to describe my disposition was grieved. As we journey through holy week, the Spirit is transforming grief into hope. I'm looking forward to completing this book and beginning the 40 days with Jesus journey as we anticipate his glorious ascension.
